Laminated Glass

Made up of several sheets of glass, laminated glass is separated by one or more plastic films (PVB, EVA, or Sentryglas) so that if it breaks, the pieces remain attached to the film. It provides added safety, security, UV reduction, and noise reduction.

What is Laminated Glass

Your first solution for Safety, Security & Noise Control Glass in China

Laminated Glass combines two or multi-glass panels with interlayer under high temperature and pressure. The interlayer can be EVA, PVB, SGP, or more to bond glass permanently. The biggest advantage of laminated glass is its safety, once any glass breakage,  the interlayer will keep the glass's integrity and prevent injury. Laminated glass is widely used in glass railings, balconies, skylights, pool fences, and glass facades.

Key Features of Laminated Glass

Key Product Features

Noise Reduction

Effectively minimizing sound transmission can be achieved using laminated glass products, with higher levels of sound attenuation performance coming with the use of specialized sound control interlayer products.

Safety Glazing

Laminated glass products can qualify as building code-complying construction materials when used in applications where safety glass is required. When properly designed, it is an effective way to minimize the probability of lethal injury in areas where glass is used.

Blocks UV

Laminated glass can block over 99% of all harmful UV rays. This is an important feature that allows you to protect the color integrity of items such as artwork, furnishings, fabrics or flooring materials.

Versatility

Laminated glass can be used in windows, doors, railings, balustrades, canopies, skylights, sculptures, stair treads and flooring.
